Baba Hira Das Ji College of Veterinary Pharmacy, V.P.O. Badal, Distt. Sri Muktsar Sahib is  one of the prestigious Veterinary Diploma College in Punjab for learning Veterinary Diploma. The institute is a part of “Baba Hira Das Ji Group of Institutions”,  a renowned name as one of the premier educational providers in VPO Badal, Distt. Sti Muktsar Sahib, and is being managed by the  Rana Badal Educational Society. The Educational Society  was constituted by Mrs. Rana Badal (Chairman), S. Paramjit Singh Dhillon (Lali Badal Ji) (President) and S. Gurmehar Singh Dhillon (Secretary) in 2015 at VPO Badal, Distt. Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab with the objective to provide the quality professional education to the deserving students.

Baba Hira Das Ji College of Veterinary Pharmacy (BHDJCVP), is affiliated with Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana. The University offers admission to Dip.V.Sc. & A.H.Tech programme. BHDJCVP was established in the year 2015 as a constituent college of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana to impart education leading to Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology to support the veterinary services through trained Para-veterinary staff.

The institute has its own well developed cattle farm of 10 cows, a Pig farm of 250 pigs and a Sheep/Goat farm of 10 goats and sheep with a view to impart practical training to the students. The institute also has a well-furnished hostel with all the latest facilities like gym, playground, room etc. The Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology has been designed to train human resource in developing Para-veterinary personnel. The trainees after completing the Diploma course shall be able to co-ordinate and work under the supervision of Registered Veterinary Practitioners to provide better health care to domesticated animals in Veterinary Hospitals, Veterinary Colleges, Research and Training Institutes, Cooperative Sector and Non- Government Organizations etc. Majority of the students after successful completion of their studies have been appointed in the Department of Animal Husbandry, Cooperative Sector, GADVASU and some Non- Government organizations.
